Vision & Mission:

• Strengthening the liberal education of the students
• Empowerment through education To provide equal opportunities of higher education to socially and educationally backward classes, minorities and differently-abled persons
• To prepare students for a richly rewarding intellectual experience
• To cultivate the imagination and enhance communication skills
• To develop linguistic & literary sensibility in students who largely come from Bengali medium background (approx. 92%)
• To fill up the allotted seats as per national reservation policy
• To sensitize students on issues of national and international significance like:
  1. Gender Equality
  2. Ecological concern
  3. Human rights
  4. Animal Rights
• To initiate a better understanding of people from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds
• To prepare students to successfully compete in the job market by developing cognitive and analytical skills
