About the DepartmentThis department was established with General Degree Course in Mathematics since 1980-81 academic session with Affiliation No. 1178-Edu(cs) dated 03/09/1980 and the journey of 3-years Honours Course in Mathematics has been started in the academic session 2017-18 with Affiliation No. C/302/34-Affl. dated 05/06/2017. The reason for studying these courses in Mathematics to an advanced level is that it is interesting and applicable in technology and in various aspects of sciences. In the department, Information and Communication Technology [ICT] is adopted to improve the teaching- learning process.
